Win2K Install Issue

Hi,
I had Win2k a few months ago running on my PII 450. I switched back to Win98SE but
wanted to switch back to Win2K Pro. To make it a clean install, I formatted the drives,
deleted the partitions through FDISK and then created the partitions again. I have
2 SCSI hard drives. The install appeared to go fine until the part came up where
it was installing the drivers. The system would freeze. I thought maybe the system
was doing its thing so I left it alone but after a while I noticed that it was not
working. The install stayed at the same spot and the mouse pointer froze. The last
thing I did while I was on Win98SE was that I flashed the BIOS. Prior to flashing
the BIOS, win2k pro ran fine. I went back to win98se since the tech support of the
recording software I use doesn't support it. I also couldn't make use of the printer
drivers for my HP printer. Does anyone know why all of a sudden Win2K Pro won't
work? Could the bios update be the reason? Thanks so much for your help.
Vic
