Is there any way to copy mp3 files from a badly-burned CD to my hard-drive?

I tried to copy via DOS using the 8.3 (mysong~1.mp3) format but i still get "Data error (cyclic redundancy check)".

I'm hoping it might just be a corrupt file headers and not the actual file. The reason why I say this is because the corrupt files is readable and playable w/ my Rio Volt Mp3 player.

Thanks,
g00ber
