Hello,
I have read the post about 'Getting Wake On Lan (sometimes called Remote Wake Up)
to work'. And it pertains directly to what I am trying to accomplish right now. I
have 3 computers networked
together and working thru netBEUI protocol. I have win95 on 1 computer, win98 on
another, and win2k on the third. My motherboards and network cards are "wake on lan"
capable, I have installed the WAL cables, and setup in the bios for this feature.
However, I cant figuire out how to send the wake-up packet to remotely turn on another
computer. How is this done?
What all do I need listed in the network Properties section? I have a file called
"A:\PKTDRV\FEAPKT.COM on my nic disk. Do I need to load this? If so, how? You might
just want to give me a quick tutoring on how to set this all up, seeing how this
is my first.
Any help will be appreicated.
Brian
