Question about 'Change a file association on the fly' Tuesday, December 18, 2001 at 8:38 am Windows 2000 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by gadget (10 messages posted) if like me your old school and like the command prompt, for nt/2000 use the 'assoc' command. (eg I associate bat files as text files (saves me accidently running them.
