I have a question about Dealing with Windows's Advanced Power Management (APM):

When Windows shuts itself down it somehow affects the clock on the computer. After a few subsequent shutdowns the clock shows a time perhaps a half hour earlier than the actual time. Computer performance seems to be slowed down too. The only way to correct it is to reboot the computer. How do I prevent this besides turning off the auto-shutdown?
