Question about 'Dealing with Windows's Advanced Power Management (APM)' Thursday, January 10, 2002 at 8:34 am Windows 2000 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Chris Horn (1 messages posted) I have a question about Dealing with Windows's Advanced Power Management (APM): When Windows shuts itself down it somehow affects the clock on the computer. After a few subsequent shutdowns the clock shows a time perhaps a half hour earlier than the actual time. Computer performance seems to be slowed down too. The only way to correct it is to reboot the computer. How do I prevent this besides turning off the auto-shutdown?
