I know that ive had a post similar to this before but please i need your help Got the KR7A-133, booted with AMD XP 1800+, went to install Windows 2000 Pro Sp2. Changed the boot order to CDrom first in my bios and put the cd in and restarted the machine. Windows 2000 install screen came up, went through a couple of screens and said it needed to format my harddrive to NTFS. I clicked ok, and it started. About 8mb of converting, i got an error message. It was long, and said that there was a hardware problem. It said that if this was the first time seeing the message just restart the maching and continue the process. If it was not the first time then take out any newly installed hardware. I restarted my machine, and went through the same process again, and it stopped at 8mb again w/ the same message. At this point I decided to look at my processor settings in the bios, i see my XP 1800+ plus running at 55 C. Very very upset and underclock it to 1700+ speed. I restart the machine and nothing comes up, blank screen. I cleared the CMOS and the speed went back to default and 1800+ speed. However now I try to change my boot order to CDrw first, and i restart the machine, and nothing will come up. When i clear the CMOS the machine will boot but when i try to change somethign and restart it nothing will happen.....what to do? Went through floppys 1 and 2, when it got to three (the one that took 4 tries to copy) it said that "apci.sys is corrupted, press any key to restart ur system"
