You need both sets of boot files on the same drive, so what you could do is continue
using the Windows 2000 drive as the C: drive, and install Windows on the new drive
as a D: drive.
To do this, you need to have the Windows 2000 drive as the Master on the IDE connector,
and the new one as slave (or on the secondary IDE connector if you're not using it
for a CD drive).
When you install Windows 98 it will overwrite the 2000 boot files, but you can replace
them with a Windows 2000 repair disk. You should then have a dual-booting system.
