Allow FTP in Windows 2000 Monday, February 11, 2002 at 8:11 pm Windows 2000 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by John (9 messages posted) I'm using Windows 2000 Pro. and an FTP program, SERVU-FTP. I set up the program, correctly I hope, and set it up so people knowing my IP can grab a file when I let them. When I friend tries to connect to me, it accepts his user name and password that we set up, but when his FTP program tries a LIST command to get my directory, he gets a PERMISSION DENIED error. Is there a service that I'm not turning on in 2K that needs to be? Any help is appreciated!
