Hi all, I am now to this forum and WinNT. So far I do not like WinNT, but that is what I need to use at work. I was upgraded to a faster PC, basically the same configuration, but the wheel mouse action is very poor. When scrolling in Word it is fine. When scrolling in IExplorer, it goes very slow, like to allow for reading during the scrolling. It is so slow that its a pain and mostly I can whip the wheel several times and just sit back and wait for the page to finally get there. I installed the Intellimouse driver and can set the number of lines to scroll, but it does effect the speed. I also like to set if for 1 line because I use it to scroll 1 page at a time when in full page view. This all worked great on my old PC with all the same software. It workes great at home with Win98, but I do not know what happened to my PC at work. I like the mouse wheel to scroll the page like it is firmly connected to the wheel. In Word, when looking at documents posted on the web I notice my other Word file will adopt the menu bars that are turned on in the IExplorer. This is annoying as I do not want those tool bars turned on that i do not use. This also rearanges my toolbars in Word. Can I just freeze my toolbar setup?
