Hi. I recently did a fresh install of Windows 2000 Professional Ed. on my computer.
Anyways, while running IE 5.0 and browsing web pages, the computer will occassionally
crash for no apparent reason. So I tried updating all my drivers, and upgrading to
6.0. The same problem occured. Then, a friend on Yahoo suggested uninstalling the
SP2 I downloaded, which meant going back to IE 5.0.
The very next time I launched the browser, after about 10 pages or so it crashed.
Has this happened to anyone else? If you have any suggestions, please feel free to
write. Thanks.
System Specs: AMD K-62/500 mgz w/ MMX, Guillmot Maxi Gamer Cougar 32 MB PCI bus video
card, Windows 2000 Professional Ed., 14 GB Western Digital HD, 390MB RAM, and I use
Cox High Speed internet services on a Lynksis 10/100 T-Base/10 Ethernet Adapter (PCI).
Sincerely,
Jason Maxwell
