Crap... I even hacked the registry. I went to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MountPoints\E (E being the letter of the hard drive) and added this key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MountPoints\E\DefaultIcon I then changed the value of the DefaultIcon to e:\2000.ico It worked fine until I rebooted and the registry changed itself back. Is there any way I can force the registry to keep the keys I add?
