>Could it be the program is opening a default selected window? I don't think so, since the program doesn't run at startup! (it is a DV video capture program that I only use occasionally) I would like to know *where* exactly Windows saves the "open window" information (I assume it is a list in a registry key somewhere) so that I can delete the entry for this silly window!
