Heh. I tried the above aswell, and though I was going to accept it, I found a more "official" method. Check out: http://www.winguides.com/registry/display.php/1043/ WinGuides has a HUGE list of tweaks and tips for all versions of Windows and Internet Explorer, you can also find more information on how to remove the other "un-dieing" icons as well.
