I have finally fixed the problem. My setup may be somewhat unusual, but this may
help someone who is running a program similar to Netmeeting that uses Desktop Sharing.
I am running Win 2000 along with a program called Netsupport which uses a type of
Desktop Sharing. When I read all the posts that talked about Desktop Sharing I got
suspicious that Netsupport might be my problem. Sure enough I uninstalled Netsupport
and unchecked and rechecked "Show Icons in True Color" and my problem was solved.
My version of Netsupport was 6.1. They have created a newer version 7.0 that I suspect
has resolved the problem. I will install newer version and see if it does indeed
work.
Hope this helps!
