Hi Dan, I edited the .default user in hkey_users and got the Numlock enabled for the initial login screen. Then it turned off for my login. I see that the Initial Indicators key for hkey_current_user keeps reverting to 0. Maybe this is what Ryan was saying, although he is trying to do the opposite action. thanks, Will
