You guys rock!!! I've had this same icon problem for a while now, didn't really
put it together with using NetMeeting for the first time a while back.
I was trying hard to find an answer -- MS knowledge base yielded nothing. I figured
I wasn't the only one with this problem and searched the net on a variety of keywords
until I stumbled across this article on this site.
I went into NetMeeting, enabled desktop sharing via the wizard, then disabled it
and rebooted, and BAM nice new icons, like they're supposed to be. Whoever originally
figured that one out deserves some serious kudos.
Got my nice "candylike" IE/OE icons back and Winamp has returned to orange from yellow.
Woohoo! Thanks!
