I have the same problem as the original author of this set of messages. I even installed SP3, hoping that would solve the problem. I suspect this problem started for me after I uninstalled Easy CD Creater 4.02. I would appreciate anyone who has an idea for fixing this Windows 2000 shutdown problem. Thanks.
