I have a question about What's the difference between Windows 2000 and Windows XP?:

With W2K you can share "ALL" folder and files over a LAN. You "CAN'T" with XP. XP looks like it was designed for kids. XP comes installed with NTSF(?) file system which is slower. XP automatically disables the cd-rom drive when trying to create a dual boot system if it is installed first. In general, XP SUCKS!! http://www.geocities.com/cork1958/
