Usually the tray programs are at the bottom of this list. For instance, if you had Norton Antivirus running in the tray, it would be called NAVAPW32.EXE in the Processes Tab. (I do NOT recommend disabling that one though!!!) Usually the names are relevant to the program being run. The Good: If you attempt to disable a process the system needs to use to keep running, it won't let you do it. The Bad: You will have to disable the unwanted tasks EVERY TIME YOU REBOOT. Many programs that use the tray icon allow you to choose their settings from the icon itself. If you right-click the icon for America Online, for example, it has a Settings or Preferences tab that lets you decide whether you want to have the icon pop up when you start the machine or not. For the ones that don't have this feature, try disabling them in the Task Manager. Hope this was helpful in some way. Olgrund
