Show file extensions

If you have "Hide file extensions for known file types" checked in folder options, then you won't be able to change the extension simply by right clicking the file and renaming it. However, if you don't want to bother showing file extensions, you can just open notepad and choose "Save As" and add the .bat extension to the name of the file.
