Actually, under WIN2K, Editing "Desktop.ini" worked great for me. However, I had
to edit every single instance of the desktop.ini file manually because there are
a couple dozen files in various directories. Each file controls several access options
(among other things) pertaining to that directory only. I don't know but I suspect
that you could do the same thing under WIN XP since XP is basically an incremental
upgrade to WIN2K
