Thanks for that, it solved my problem. Note that you can combine this with the tip
about making Explorer open in the right folder (Using Windows) by making the value
in the "command" registry value have the suggested switches. That is the value associated
with the default key in
\HCR\CLSID\{20D04...}\SHELL\EXPLORER\COMMAND
should be set to
%SystemRoot%\Explorer.exe /n, /e, c:\
if you want Explorer to open in C:\ (change the last parameter if you want it open
other than in C:\) It stops it opening that annoying "My Documents" folder.
Why, by-the-way do Microsoft insist on such condescending names - like "My Network
Places" and so on? How old do they think the average computer user is? - six???
