I'm using Win2000 pro on Dell Latitude laptop. I've renamed the computer name and restarted.. but now instead of booting up, i got the message: Loader 3 error due to problems in Win2000. Please contact your admin (or close to this). It stops at the bars where the prompt "Starting WIndows" appears, before the Win2K logo screen. What I did was to reboot the computer and choose Recovery Console. Once i entered C:\winnt at the command prompt, without doing anything, i exit and select normal Win2k start... and it booted up ok. The problem is, everytime is shutdown the pc, i will get the loader 3 error and i have to redo the above (go to recovery console without doing anything) before i can start win2k. Any ideas? please help. thanks.
