Glen,

You don't need NetBEUI.  Using a DSL router as David suggests would be a better solution 
for sharing you Internet connection but since ICS seams to be working; your problem 
is probably related to something else.  Enabling LMHosts Lookup won't help unless 
you edit the files and add the mappings of the IP address to NetBIOS names of your 
computers.  It sounds like your problem might be related to one of the services not 
being started.  Go to Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services and make sure 
the Computer Browser and Workstation services are started and the Startup Type is 
automatic.  Also, check that the Network Connections service is started and its Startup 
Type is normally manual but it is ok to set to automatic.

If these settings are OK, then run ipconfig /all on each computer and post the output 
to us.  An easy way to do this is use a floppy and from the command prompt on each 
computer enter "ipconfig /all >> a:\ipconfig.txt" (without the quotes), then post 
the contents of that file.
