Editing rec'd email sent in Word/HTML fmt

Outlook (I've used 97,98,2000) makes it easy to edit received messages, and I often
do that to make messages I want to save more useful - trimming unwanted quoting,
reformatting for readability, etc.

Just today, I started getting messages in multipart/alternative form with a plain
text version (which Outlook ignores on my behalf) and an HTML formatted version that
has MSWord tags in it. "Edit message" pops up MSWord, and after editing, it doesn't
appear possible to get the message back into the message store. (Only the content
of the message is edited, not the headers, etc., and "save" gives a standard Word
save dialog box to save a new file.)

Can I tell Outlook2000 to use the plain text version if there is one? Can I tell
Outlook2000 to NOT use Word to edit the HTML part of the message?
