Well I know what you are going thru. There is not many ways to fix a problem like that, but depending of the type of errors or (.exe) file. But if the error load up at start up means that it connected to a specific program(software) or OS issue. If you problems concerns the OS it's simple. If you have the Windows 2000 CD please boot up from CD, and repair you of, The Windows CD will give you the option to repair any problem concerning the OS. But If your problem concern a Software by removing and installing back will not exactly remove the Error. Please message me if you need more help.
