win2000pro startup issue Sunday, February 16, 2003 at 11:02 am Windows 2000 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Tracey (2 messages posted) i have a dual boot system, defaulted to win2kpro. has worked for quite sometime...now all of a sudden, it locks up on the windows logo page...and the progress bar stops...this ONLY happens when the system is first turned on...once or twice. if the system has been on for awhile, it doesnt happen. i have checked thru the event viewer, and can find nothing...i have checked the device manager...found nothing amiss. any ideas? probably something im overlooking?
