Utility For Saving To Default Dir Based on Extension?

Sorry for the long subject line. But are there any utilities to where when you save a file from IE, It automatically saves to a folder that you specify. Say I download a picture that is .bmp .jpg .gif, It automatically picks D:\My Pictures Also it would be nice if the prompting to save the file were disabled as well. If this is not a utility, why the heck isnt it, sounds like a great idea to me :)
