Duncan, I have had the same problem. Get an error message and that Explorer is closing down. Does it about once every 6 or 8 boots. I do a normal shutdown and then turn on the machine again. Usually can start explorer then. Simple log off and log on will get same error message. Restart works about 1 in 3 times. Can't figure it out. Will be interested in any feedback you get.
