>and this still happens! let me guess... you have the microsoft mouse driver version 4.x installed? ... i do and my startmenu delays are reset back to 400 without anything actually being changed in the registry ... it's almost like something in that driver is modifying the value in memory but not in the registry... i've seen many references to this problem/bug on the net but have yet to find a cure myself :(
