Hi
The method I used to get it working under W2K did not work for WinXP.
I actually went ahead and bought a copy of Quick View Plus 7 from JASC when it was
discounted by 50% - real value.
Looks like JASC have now passed the product on to Avantstar (www.avantstar.com) -
now at the normal price.
I never open attachments (double left click) in emails even when they are from trusted
sources.
Even if they have got pass my virus checker, I still either use quick view (using
right click) to view them first or save them separately and scan them again before
opening them in the appropriate application.
Quick view does not run any executable code, so no executables or macros will run.
Philip.
