This is in reply to KDivad Leahcim's post on a registry repair of the icon file association.
I found that the icons I made and listed in an Icon folder under Windows Explorer
were not showing their respective images. They instead showed the default windows
icon.
All other uses of the icons on the desktop and task bar, favourites, etc worked fine.
I checked the file associations to find the ICO file was not listed. When I tried
to create a new one through the same file association list window, it said that the
extension already exists.
The tweakUI did not repair the problem.
I followed the registry repair as given by KDivad Leahcim, restarted my computer
and it is fixed.
Thought to let you know.
