Thanks for the Netmeeting solution, i found that it was netmeeting's desktop sharing prior to the fix and somehow it always fixed on its own but i did not know exactly what to do. It was screwing up my programs requiring Direct 3d and some were even not detecting the video card. When I did this it all worked out great. Thanks now i don't have to wait for the problem to fix itself.
