Question about 'Windows Installer Appears Every Time I Start an Application' Tuesday, June 10, 2003 at 9:52 pm Windows 2000 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Merlin (2 messages posted) I can not uninstall or remove or do a repair installation on a Windows 2000 PC with Office 2000. I get an error box for Windows Installer and it says that the feature i am trying to use is on the Office 2000 CD. I was unable to locate the original version from the original installation therefore purchased a new copy of Office 2000. But when i put this CD in, it keeps saying it cant find the CD. I can't even apply any Service Packs to Office 2000. This problem has come about after upgrading from Win 98 to 2000. Please help.
