The key is HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{22D6F312-B0F6-11D0-94AB-0080C74C7E95} Simply add a dash before it and close all folders, it will stop mediaplayer from trying to preview music, and movies, been looking for this for a long time.
