Replace your current copy of this file with the d3d8thk.w2k version, changing the .w2k to .dll obviously. I suspect 9.0a has the same file format but doesn't properly choose the correct one to use, I can't be sure though as I did the Web Install. If you don't have this file then drop me a line and I'll email it to you. Jon...
