Disabling the agp440.sys may not be necessary. I found that my computer had an older
Bios installed (Dells A03). Once I upgraded my Bios to Dell's A14, their latest update,
windows 2000 worked flawlessly as did XP. I am not sure if this willl hold true for
other computer systems, but for dell's this should work. The older bios did not allow
ACPI, which 2000 and XP require.
