Eureka - got it


On the 98 machine type in the path of whatever you have shared on the w2k machine. Say the w2k is called Projects and you shared folder called microsoft on the 98 machine you type in \\Projects\microsoft that should make folder microsoft and any subfolders browsable. You can the map this to a drive say M:
