'missing or corrupt:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM.SAV' Sunday, August 17, 2003 at 5:54 am Windows 2000 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Greg (23 messages posted) When I try to boot my computer I get the message that the machine can't boot because Windows can't find \WINNT\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM.SAV' I've tried the repair process and I've tried Last Know Good several times but to no avail I understand that the registry is probably corrupt. What can I do to correct the situation? Can I upgrade to XP Pro and fix it?
