FINALLY! Someone else having the same issue as I am! It takes me 3 mins of Services.exe crunching the proc before I can get a connection.. Modem is a US Robotics 56K V.92 Internal.. brand new.. I had to replace modems a while back for relatively the same issues on an old modem of mine. that was a creative DI5633.. is there a possibility of a new and unknown virus?
