I have an asus p4s533 motherboard and an msi geforce mx440 graphics card After install of directx 9 restart in safe mode Then delete d3d8thk.dll from the c:/winnt/system32 folder. Then rename the d3d8thk.w2k to d3d8thk.dll Restart. I wish I tried this a week Ago !!
