I have had the same problem. If you cant find the exact same version of Office 2000
then you have a hard time uninstalling it. This is because the uninstall program
is part of the install program. Seems stupid becuase if you could repair it, then
you wouldnt need to uninstall it. I found a program called windows install clean
up utility, that has worked sometimes, but not always. I have tried to install the
new version of Office 2000 with the old on there, tht just messes it up more, then
you worry about different users....make a real mess. Make sure your in administrator,
and be sure you do everything from the 'add remove programs' module. Sorry, i dont
have an answer but maybe provide some confort that someone else is having the same
problems.
