open regedit
browse to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\PMEM\
you got a key labelled ImagePath, edit it and change the value to "system32\drivers\PMEMNT.SYS"
then open a command prompt and type "net start pmem" if the modification if ok the
service will start and u won't be annoyed anymore.
