Bob,
I'm so sorry, but it really doesn't work: always the same msg about sectors whatever
I try (reformatted, tried another path)
And problems are accumulating
My DVD rom has a pcmcia. It doesn't boot either. Any chance to change that? When
I start the computer it starts reading before launching WWindows but that's all.
Maybe another question: could I just open the laptop, take the harddrive out, install
it in another (different) laptop and boot a windows CD? Any risk that it wouldn't
work or worse damage the second laptop?
Thank you for your patience
Marc
