Well Paul, because QTTASK.exe AUTOmatically re-adds itself to the registry hive and says RESTART, NO MATTER what. that's why you have to a) kill the current qttask.exe process and b) renanme or delete the qttask.exe file (do a search on it) PS: qttask is ONLY used for the system tray... nothing else!
