Do the same thing that Annoyances.org suggests for Win 95/98/Me http://www.annoyances.org/exec/show/article04-002 I'm using W2K SP4, and there's a "Prompt for name and password, certificate, etc." checkbox under the "Options" tab of the connection's Properties.
