Try this
Start/Run/ type in cmd enter you will see the DOS window not type in the name of
the xxxx.bat file.
you may need to tell windows the name of the folder where the bat file is e.g.
c:\>winnt\temp\xxxx.bat if it's not in your path statement or not in the root of
c:\
After you type in xxxx.bat hit enter and it should start.
It will also come back with a error if thier is one in the bat file..
