Hi, I missplaced my answer, so here in the right place(also updated):
Hardware error:
looks like you have a VIA 686B Southbridge and probably an Athlon 1800? Then search
for "VIA 686 Bug" on google or else..
Other Hardware error I know: overclocking? harddisk system (cable, disk, Removable
hdd rack...) may be overloaded. Especially an cheap hdd rack killed our files, then
you find crc errors from ide devices in the logs.
