Did you or the co-worker uninstall the cd/rw program? If so you need to go into registry & fix it. If you go to the web site Roxio & poke around there is a terrific explanation of how to do it. Don't go near Microsoft's stupid explanation. I did & have lived to regret it. There's some stupid glitch in Microsoft that when you uninstall a read/write program it leaves something behind in the registry (upper/lowercase) that need to be deleted. Hope this helps. I had a miserable time when I uninstalled Nero & re-installed it. best, jody
