I had a similar problem on win 2k.. The culprit was
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [nwiz] nwiz.exe /install
I had to regedt32 and go to HKey_Local_Machine =>
software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Run and delete the nWiz key. This made
it all better. I was getting a "Interstitial Ad Delivery by 180 Search Assistant"
which was asking if I wanted to install a porn site. There is no "NO" button, and
it took over my home page even though I killed it and afterwards, it still came up
every time I booted and asked the same question. These guys should be sent to Abu
Graib.
